Forest test animation

I was not able to update my blog for the past month. I was not really that busy but I was not just in any mood to write something.

During the long weekend (April 2-4) I decided to render an animation using the free version of Indigo Renderer. The whole scene including the vegetation was modeled inside Sketchup. (actually all the trees here are the same ones I uploaded to the warehouse several months ago) The 12 sec. animation at 30fps took 90 hrs. to render. Each 720x480 frame took an average of 14 mins. to render.
